Perseus Electronics at SAHA EXPO 2026: Exhibiting in Istanbul with Same Elektronik
SAHA EXPO 2026 took place from May 5 to 9 at the Istanbul Expo Center in Istanbul, Turkey. The exhibition is held on a two-year cycle and has established itself as one of the leading defense, aerospace, and space industry exhibitions in the region. For Perseus Electronics, this edition of SAHA marked our participation on the Istanbul show floor as a joint exhibitor with our Turkish distribution partner, Same Elektronik. Our booth number was 8L-16.

Perseus Electronics at DSA 2026
The 19th edition of DSA took place from April 20 to 23 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur. Perseus Electronics attended with a standalone booth this year, number 6006, which put us on the floor alongside exhibitors and visitors from across the defense and aerospace sector. DSA runs on a two-year cycle, and the edition that just wrapped marked nearly two decades of the show establishing itself as one of the more substantive defense exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region. The attendee mix reflects that. You get procurement teams, platform engineers, system integrators, and representatives from defense ministries and armed forces across Southeast Asia and further afield. It is not a show where people are browsing. The conversations tend to have a purpose behind them.

SWaP Optimization in Aerospace Cooling: Engineering Decisions Behind the Numbers
As aerospace payloads shrink in physical volume while processor density and heat flux continue to rise, thermal management competes directly with payload, fuel, and structural mass budgets. For system integrators working within fixed SWaP-C envelopes, the cooling subsystem is no longer a residual allocation—it is a constrained design variable. This article describes the specific engineering decisions Perseus made in PFM-series fan design to reduce size, weight, and power draw without compromising thermal performance or environmental qualification.

Why Bearing Material Selection Defines Fan Reliability in Defense Deployments
Bearing selection in military cooling fans is rarely treated as a primary design variable. In most commercial procurement decisions, it is a cost consideration. In defense applications, it is a reliability decision with direct consequences for platform availability, maintenance intervals, and mission continuity. This article explains why Perseus specifies Silicon Nitride (Si₃N₄) ceramic ball bearings in PFM-series fans, what that decision means for system integrators, and where its limits are.
